DETAILS

General description: reddish coloured heartwood, at times spongy with darker veins, not easily distinguishable, slightly lighter sapwood. Mainly straight, but sometimes helicoidal grain; quite fine and very uniform texture.

Uses: wall construction, furniture frames, internal joinery, furniture and furnishings, wood turning, workshop accessories.
