General description: brown, walnut coloured heartwood with resin-gum lines producing darker stripes, clearly distinguishable subtle, greyish sapwood; linear or slightly curvy grain creating a pleasing ribbon shape on radial surfaces, normally fine

texture.

Uses: coffins, doors, furniture frames, billiard tables, marquetry objects.
