DETAILS

General description: cream to light brown heartwood (generally difficult to distinguish from sapwood); straight grain, coarse and uniform texture.

Uses: sporting equipment (rackets, hockey sticks, polo clubs, gym equipment, cricket pegs, poles); marine accessories, canoes, oars, bars, bridge beams and frames; furniture, chairs,  agricultural tools, carriages, curved gauges; decorative wood turning, laminated articles; plywood, decorative panelling (furniture, etc), in-lay work.
