DETAILS

General description: pink-brown heartwood, clearly distinguishable narrow greyish or whitish pink sapwood; quite irregular to interlocked grain producing wide striped patterns on radially cut surfaces, quite uniform texture. Has no smell and therefore, can be quickly distinguished from sapele.

Uses: Suitable for furnishings and interior walls of marine craft.
