CORA' - Timber trade and manufacturing.

Corà\'s plywood panels are used in: furniture, packing, ship-building, coach-building, flooring foundations and supports, etc., and available for delivery direct from the docks or in small quantities from the warehouse.

The Wood reassembled into thin layers was first employed by the Egyptians and then the Romans. Thus, plywoods and multiply panels have been known from ancient times and it is well recognized that their durability depends on various factors, one of which being the species of wood. Increased durability results from using selected wood types, or using the right chemical protection treatment.

One of the most important physical properties of plywood is the volume mass that depends on the percentage of adhesive used to glue the layers together and on the pressure exerted by the press planes during assemby. Generally, the volume mass of the plywood is higher than that of wood it is composed of.
